My name is Isabella Salazar. I've played soccer since I was 7 years old. I developed a strong love for the sport quickly. The competitiveness the sport calls for is my favorite. I love to put up a big fight on the field and truly give it my all. My primary position is an outside back, but I also play center back or anywhere in the midfield. I push myself very hard to become the player I am today, and I am player that continues to develop. My schedule is filled with club and high school practices as well as personal training in strength, agility, and speed. When I'm not practicing with my team, my trainer and I make sure I have a workout that'll help me become a stronger player. From the beginning I knew that I love to lead a team. I've always been a player that pushed everyone and made sure we stayed on task and worked hard. As much as I love to lead, I also love being lead. My dream is to play for a team/school that'll push me to become better than I can imagine, both athletically and academically. I've struggled academically in school and that's made me want to give up at times, the main thing that still made me want to try and keep on pushing myself is soccer. Soccer and family has always been my biggest motivators to stay on top of school.
