My name is Amelia Pinkham, and I am a 2026 Goalkeeper. I played for the BFA Comets as a starting Junior Varsity goalie in 2022 and am a starting goalkeeper for my club team Northern United in 2023. I want to be the best goalkeeper I can be, and I will work as hard as possible to reach that goal. I enjoy being a part of a team and respect all of my teammates, but I will tell them what I want while in the net. I always respect and appreciate my coaches, and when they ask me to do something, work on something, etc, I make sure to listen as my coaches are only trying to make me the best player/person I can be, and I will take that to college with me no matter what. I am interested in medicine, so the colleges I am looking at and applying to must have an excellent pre-med program or a sound pre-med track. My academics are critical to me, which means I will pick the colleges I apply to off of that, but that does not mean I will not consider Athletics because I will. While my academics are a big part of my life, so is being a goalie in soccer, and I don't want to give that up in college. Soccer may be my primary sport, but I also am a part of my town's local swim team, the St.Albans Sharks, and help coach the younger group; I also play lacrosse for BFA as a starting Junior Varsity goalie.
