Ashley Herzog '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Ashley Herzog. I am 14 years old and a freshman at Highland School in Warrenton Virginia. From the time I began playing soccer I knew I had a passion for it and would want to play in college. I began playing soccer at age 7 and have grown up in an athletic and competitive family. I play center back for my high school team and defensive/attacking midfield for my travel team, but I can play where ever I am needed.  I have a good soccer IQ, which helps me play every position well. Throughout my years of sports, I have been taught the importance of discipline, determination, commitment, and leadership, as I am the captain of my travel team. I am a hard worker on the field and in the classroom. I am coachable and want to do the best that I can. I have been competitive for as long I can remember but have learned you can't always win and you can learn from your losses.
