There have been many people in my life that have made me the person I am today, including my parents and coaches. My goalkeeper coach is an amazing person. He gave me the fundamentals to be technically sound and seeing abilities that I did not see in myself. My mom introduced me to soccer at the age of four when I started playing for a local recreational soccer team. When I was 8 or 9, I remember asking my coach if I could play goalkeeper and I have not looked back since. Soccer has taught me self-discipline, when to be a leader and when a mistake is made to not give up and always try again. During my sophomore year, I had four major life-changing events all within three months that taught me that I should not lose focus when life gets hard. Some skills that I possess are being a strong communicator on and off the field, goal driven and adaptable. I want to graduate from high school with a GPA of 3.0 or above and do the best I can on the SAT. I would like to attend a 4-year university where I can study sports science or sports medicine.
