Hello my name is Elena Pinto. Soccer has been a part of my life since I can remember. I started playing rec at age 6 and I can truly say that soccer is my passion. I love the pace of the game, the strategy involved, and the teamwork it takes to be successful. The adrenaline I experience when I make a good combination with my teammates, play a good ball into the box or when I score is the best feeling ever. I want to play soccer for a college that is looking for a strong agile player that can make a real difference. My coaches have said my strengths are mental toughness, high endurance, speed, agility and leadership. I am creative in the midfield, finding pockets in the middle of the field, I can easily track down a player on the attack and I have accurate passes and crosses. I am equally successful in playing offense or defense. I am looking at small to mid-size colleges with a diverse student body, in either an urban or suburban setting. I have decided to major in Physics. I am very interested in space, so perhaps one day I will work for NASA or be part of the Spaceforce in some capacity. My freshman year of college I played at Central College in Pella, Iowa. However, I self released this past summer and I'm currently playing at Highline Community College while I search for my new home. I have 2 years of eligibility left and I want to find a place where I can thrive as a student and as an athlete.
