Alison Nelson '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alison Nelson and I am a Senior at South Bend High School. I have been playing soccer for 6 years. I started playing when a family friend suggested I try the sport out. Tried it, ended up loving the sport, haven't stopped since. 

I have strong legs and feet which allows me to dribble quickly and make quick strong passes. I am a team leader and try to maintain a positive attitude though out practices, games, and off the field. I am very coachable and I always strive to improve. I always work hard on the field and in the classroom. When I am faced with a challenge I don't back down and I take it on.

In the classroom, I study hard to maintain a high GPA and take vigorous courses. I am very good at managing my time to get assignments done and can handle multiple tasks at once very well. I have Coached and reffed for the last three years for the youth soccer program. I continue to teach and learn from my kids and their parents. 

I want to attend a college where I am challenged academically and athletically. I am open to all options but ultimately, I want to find a college to play soccer at any level.
