I have been in love with the game of soccer since I was three years old, playing on the rec fields in Ohio. I can’t remember ever not wanting to play college soccer. I have played for my club, North Shore United for the past six years. After the birth year switch, I moved up to the 02 girls team who I have been playing with for the past four years.
Prior to the birth year switch, I had to rely on ODP and Wisconsin Fire teams to play with high caliber players. But on my current team, I have been able to play at a high level for over 4 years and have loved every minute of it! I am fortunate to be the only starting junior on my team of seniors. We are 3 time Wisconsin State Champions, 2 time Regional Champions, and 2 time National League winners. We have gone to the National Championships twice, and in 2019 we made it to the semifinals. According to Youth Soccer Rankings, we are currently third in the nation (ahead of the 2019 National Champions since we beat them twice in 2018).
In high school, I have learned to balance my athletics/extra-curricular with my rigorous academic schedule (mostly honors or AP classes). Between volunteering for my school and community, working part-time at a local restaurant, being a member of the high school swim team, forensics team and band, while still training/competing for a National Championship title year-round and maintaining high grades, I am more than confident I can balance playing college soccer and maintaining an excellent academic standing.
