Abigail Koonce '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello!

My name is Abigail Koonce and soccer is a big part of who I am. I have been playing since I was 4 years old, when I started on a city club team. While it was fun for many years, I eventually wanted to play in a more competitive environment. In 7th grade, I switched to a traveling club team and was then selected for the highest-level the following year. I've been playing on the top tier team ever since.

Through the four principles of soccer, I have been working to improve my technical, tactical, physical, and psychological abilities. I am determined to make myself a better player on and off the field. 

School is another major priority of mine. I was able to successfully maintain a 4.0 GPA throughout my freshman year, while also running on the varsity cross country team and playing as a starter on the varsity soccer team. I have continued to maintain a strong 3.98 cumulative GPA during my current junior year. Soccer, academics, friends and family are my main priorities.
