I am looking for a college experience that will help me grow in two important aspects of my life: soccer and art. I have been playing soccer since age 5 and have been drawing and creating things out of nothing since I was old enough to hold a pencil. While I am not exactly sure where my artistic talent will lead, I am at this point considering graphic or product design. My eye for detail serves me well in the artistic world as well as on the soccer field. I have been told by many coaches that they enjoy coaching me because I am very coachable and take constructive criticism well. I use the feedback to enhance my skills and improve my game. I have an intuitive sense of the game and have almost as many assists as goals. My teammates rely on me to lead the team on offense, but I also aim to raise their level of play as well. Good players should make their teammates play better and our winning high school and club seasons these last 2 years are a testament to that. Academically, I have challenged myself with several AP and honors classes throughout my high school years and currently carry a 3.8 GPA.
My strong family and faith background keeps me grounded and mentally strong both on and off the field. My personality and passion for the game of soccer combined with my skill set on the field which I continue to develop every year will be an asset to any college women's soccer program.
