My love for soccer all started when I was 3 years old with a size 3 ball too big for my arms to wrap around. Then when I was 7 and the boys were afraid to 1v1 me. Then again when I was 9 and my camp coach nicknamed me Bonecrusher. Then at 10 when I saw #20, Abby Wamback on the TV. At 3 years old it was soccer and 14 years later at 17 it is still soccer, the one thing that brings me pure joy. There is no better feeling than being out on the field with 10 of your friends that share the same love as you. I’m not just a student-athlete, but a working student-athlete year-round with 9 siblings. I am a 3 sport varsity athlete and I have an internship with my school district; I manage my time and I give 110% to everything I do.
On the field, I have a big presence, I am a leader, I encourage my teammates, and I never give up. I have the ability to play long balls to feet and quick accurate passes as well, I have great footwork that allows me to take on several defenders, and I have a very high soccer IQ which allows me to see plays before they even happen. While I am a goalscorer I am not selfish with the ball and I know when I need to pass the ball off and move into space. I am always working to become the best version of myself, this makes me very coachable and teachable, I accept criticism and I am always seeking out opportunities to do more. I am known for my hard work, dedication, strength, and positivity not only on the field but in the classroom and workplace as well.
In the classroom, I am able to withhold a 3.97 GPA while taking college level classes since Freshman year. I don't just go to school to learn but to be involved in my schools community; I am part of the National Honors Society, I play soccer, basketball, and golf, design logos, and I am part of our Freshman Orietnation commity. My teachers know me as a leader and dedicated to my eduation, two of the things I look to carry into my college years. I am looking for a school that has a program fit for me academically and athletically. That being said I am looking to play at the highest level possible with a program that values me as a player. Above all else, I aspire to be the best colligate student-athlete that I can be and be an insperation for my 8 younger siblings and make my entire family proud.
