Hello coaches, my name is Sieanna Sandor. I will be a 2025 graduate of Washburn High School. I have been playing soccer since I was three years old and haven’t looked back since.
I started with playing soccer with my local clubs during the spring and fall but I never could get enough. I started training with a new local training program in my seventh-grade year. It took my love for this game to a whole new level going into high school.
In my freshman year, I was a starter on varsity and first-team all-conference. I finished the season with being top 25 in Wisconsin for assists along with tying for second most assists in my conference. This season (sophomore) I am a captain on varsity. As a leader, I see myself as someone my teammates and coaches can rely on by communicating, leading, and guiding my team through the season.
I live in a very small town with limited opportunities. Because of this, I decided that if I want to continue to improve I will have to travel. This past year I have been involved in ODP. (Olympic development program) We had to drive countless hours to get to practices or games. This coming June I will play on the Wisconsin state team in Missouri.
Other than soccer I play on my school’s eight-man football team as the only girl and I am a state-qualifying, downhill skier. I have a 4.0 GPA and am a member of the National Honors Society. On top of training for soccer during the summer I work at Halverson’s fisheries. We head out to the lake at 6:00 and come back to process the fish we caught. I work 8 to 10-hour days, 6 days a week. This job is very physically demanding. It keeps me in shape in addition, it provides me with various life lessons such as hard work and loyalty.
I always look for opportunities to better myself as a soccer player and as a person. I am a very coachable player and appreciate constructive criticism.
