Lindsey Fruhwirth '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming for nine years and it has truly made me the person I am today. Swimming is a very important part of my life and I am very fortunate for that. I have been swimming with the same team since I began and it has been the best nine years; I'm so happy that I have been able to be apart of it. Swimming with the same people and being with the same coach all my life has really helped me grow as a person and as a swimmer. It has taught me that nothing is more important than caring for another and always being there for each other. I am the type of person that never quits and is always up for a challenge. I love being on a team and I will be very committed to the team and all the people on it. Overall my main goal is to create amazing bonds with my teammates and to be able to create one strong and unified team. I hope to create amazing bonds with my coach because I believe that being close with your coach can change your experience on the team. I want to be able to swim at a school that is both academically and athletically challenging, but at the same time a place where I feel comfortable and am able to succeed. I will never have doubt in my self or anyone else and will put in one hundred percent to make mine, my teammates, and my coaches experience unforgettable.
