Sydney Torres '19 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was about 9 years old, I've always wanted to swim and take my potential to the next level. Swimming is a huge part of my family, and it would be amazing to have the chance to continue my aunt, Dara's, legacy and hopefully make it to the Olympic Trials or even the Olympic Games one day. I have a very strong and competitive personality, which helps me a lot throughout my training, to make sure that I am getting stronger every day. As an athlete, I believe that I have a strong balance in both my sport and academics. I am a very hardworking and always make sure to put school work right above swimming. I aspire to do great things in life, and being able to swim in college would be an excellent milestone to face in the future.
