Samantha Cutrone '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Sami Cutrone and I attend Fivay High School in Hudson Florida. I've been swimming for about 6 years, and have loved every minute of it. We are a small team, but that never stops us from trying to reach our full potential. I feel that it is so important to support my teammates and keep them positive, and motivated. Whether it's with helping them with their stroke technique, or screaming at them during their events. My teammates are like family to me, and I'll always cheer them on. While we were all under lockdown, I continued to train to my best ability without access to a pool. The thought of getting in the water again was what kept me motivated. I am very competitive when it comes to swim, as well as academics. I'm a straight A student, and at the top of my class. I have aspirations for a career in STEM, and am very interested in engineering. I plan on continuing to work hard, and to push myself to reach my full potential. I am excited to see how my next few chapters unfold!
