Makayla Way '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Makayla Way. I am a 2023 Middle Blocker but I am able to swing from all three positions in the front row. I maintain a 4.6 GPA and am set to graduate with my AA degree before I graduate from high school. While working towards my schooling I participate in Volleyball for club and high school and Softball for high school. I referee middle school games and work at Publix as well. My dream since I was in 7th grade is to play volleyball at the next level and to be able to get my schooling paid for while doing the sport that I love. I am working towards becoming a physical therapist and my recovery from my ACL tear helped lead me to the career I am going to pursue. Being able to help people get back to the things they love in life is something I really look forward to in the future.
