Personal Statement

UPDATE: I will be attending Monmouth College this Fall and swimming for the Fighting Scots!

I started swimming on a Park District team when I was 9 and joined a club team when I was 11. It has become a major part of my life, one I can't imagine living without. It has been easy for me to make friends on my teams and I look forward to making more when I get to the college level. I love swimming in the pool, but I've branched out to open water races and I enjoy it just as much. I am excited at the chance to continue competing and improving for 4 more years. I am also looking to be challenged academically as I prepare for my future career.
