Chloe Chen '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chloe Chen and I am currently a junior at Naperville North High School, Illinois for the 2023-2024 school year. 

In high school, I have been a varsity athlete all three years and I was elected by the team to be a captain my senior year. I have swam at IHSA State Championships all three years of high school and have been a part of relays that have made finals at each one. As a freshman, I led off a 400 yard free relay that made All-American. I strive to promote hard work and team spirit both in and out of the pool, and I hope to bring the same sense of sportsmanship, diligence, and leadership to college. Outside of high school, I am extremely involved in club swimming, attending Senior State every season as well as attending Speedo Sectionals in July 2023. March 2024 was my second consecutive year going to NCSAs in Orlando and I plan on going to Sectionals and State again this summer. 

In school, I value challenging myself with rigorous honors and AP courses. My current weighted GPA is a 4.629 on a 5 point weighted scale (4.0 unweighted), I am at the top of my classes, I have been awarded academic excellence every semester, and I have a 1600 SAT score. I also value community involvement and participate in a variety of clubs and extracurriculars, including but not limited to tutoring, National Honor Society, and DECA. 

I would love the opportunity to continue pursuing my passion for swimming and academic excellence at a competitive college level. I always strive to improve myself both athletically and academically and will continue to demonstrate my aspirations to excel at both.
