My name is Chris Brady. I am a 6’3” 175lb Goalkeeper. As an 8th grader, I was the starting Goalkeeper for the Chicago Fire Academy U14 team and am currently the starting goalkeeper for the U16 team as a sophomore in high school. At the U14 age group, I would find myself playing up with the U15 team and this year I have started most games with the U17 team. This past year I have been fortunate enough to play abroad in other states and countries. As U14’s we won the Community Shield in the Concacaf Championship Tournament. Last year I also had the pleasure of being exposed to the European style of play when my team and I finished 1st in the Belsport cup located in Zakopane, Poland. I love to be challenged. Being recognized by the U.S national team has been a lifelong dream of mine and with perseverance, I was eventually called up to the U15 National Team domestic camp in Carson, California. In addition to this call up I was also added to the U15 U.S Concacaf roster and achieved my first start with the team.
These events have molded me into the kind of person who strives to do my best and works to get things right even if they're not on the first try. Through High School, I am still striving to get the best grades that I possibly can to support me throughout college and the rest of my life. I pride myself in being dedicated, loyal, respectful and hard working. I look forward to meeting new and wonderful people on my journey.
