2020 SpotlightPersonal Statement
When I first started swimming in the spring of 2017, I could barely put my face in the water. That certainly slowed me down. In fact, my first 50 free time was over a minute (1:05.8 if anyone’s curious). However, I loved the sport and worked hard to get faster. I give every yard I swim at practice my all, and I give every race 110%. Now, 5 years later, my best 50 free SCY ever is a 25.46 individually, though I have gone a 25.03 in a relay. I will continue to work hard and get even faster, because this sport is my passion.
