Alyssa Witt '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello! I am Alyssa Witt. I have been swimming for seven years, and have loved the sport ever since swimming my first race. I take my role of being a student athlete seriously, and am always looking for ways to improve my times. Beyond my own personal success, I love to encourage my teammates to be the best they can be and to work hard each and every day.           

 I have treasured being able to meet many new coaches and swimmers while competing for Team Iowa on multiple occasions. With that being said of having numerous coaches and teammates the one thing I have learned is that I hold great value in my relationships with my coaches and teammates. This is an important aspect of swimming for me in addition to the competition of the sport.  

I look forward to doing whatever it takes for me to be the best version of myself in swimming and in the classroom.
