Bailey Van Hoogstraten '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I am Bailey Van Hoogstraten and I will graduate from LSU Laboratory High School in 2025. I have been swimming for 10 years at Tiger Aquatics in Baton Rouge Louisiana. Swimming has always been important to me ever since I was little. My older sister swam, and I obviously had to be just like her, so I started swimming, too. Ever since then, my love for this sport has only grown. I have found some of my best friends in this sport whether they were on my team or on rival teams. This sport allows me to be competitive not only swimming against other swimmers, but against myself. The pool is like my second home. I hope that the school I end up at allows me to have that same "at home feeling". I am looking for a college that will challenge me both academically and athletically.
