I've learned a lot from swimming, including how to adopt a mentality that doesn't hold me back but instead gives me the chance to keep pushing myself to get better. I have been swimming on a team competitively since I was 10 years old, and I hope to continue swimming at the collegiate level. Along with my passion for swimming, I am a courteous student who strives to be the best in school. I positively contribute to my school, volunteer, and always have a helping hand ready to reach out to those who need it. Setting goals for myself has allowed me to strive to be my best self in both athletics and school. Recently, I thought to myself about my dream, and what I’ve wanted to make of myself in the future. Although I had many ideas, the one that stuck out most to me was the ability to educate, inspire, and care for others, even in the most simple way. To obtain this goal, I have an open mind as to which college I may attend in the future.
