Personal Statement
*Update 4/28/20* Although I am disappointed to have our state and sectional meets cancelled due to COVID-19, I am still training in our garage everyday with body-weight and some weighted exercises. My family also does a cross-fit workout together on most days which helps my overall fitness. As one of the high school team captains, I send workouts to my team during the week and they video some of it to send back to the captains to count towards varsity letter credit. The workouts are designed to keep everyone active while we can not swim, but also give us a little bit of unity.
So far some of my collegiate goals and aspirations are to compete at higher and more elite levels. Some things that make me a good candidate for a team is, I am a good leader and I take the things I learn and apply them to things I do. That helps to make me a better teammate, a better athlete, and also a better student. What makes me different from other recruits in character, athletics, and academics is that I'm passionate and open minded in what I do and am willing to put in the work to become a better student and a stronger athlete.
