Personal Statement
I am a 5'11" high school student-athlete who excels both in and out of the pool. Strong in all strokes, I have consistently dropped time each year of high school. Having earned Varsity letters in Soccer, Swimming and Crew, while training year-round at Jersey Wahoos Swim Club and PowerTrain Institute for strength and conditioning, I know I have yet to reach my full swimming potential. Having turned 16 in September of my junior year, I look forward to focusing solely on swimming as my sport of choice in college. I am an A student, take several AP/accelerated courses, and am a member of the National Honor Society. In addition, I am a Peer Leader, Peer Mentor, member of Leo Club, active in my church choir and youth group, and have participated in annual mission trips. You will not find a more determined, competitive, or hard working team player. I know what it takes to succeed and am willing to make the necessary sacrifices to ensure continued athletic and academic performance at the collegiate level.
