Personal Statement

In college I plan to utilize every resource to better prepare me for my future.I hope to include swimming, as I've been swimming competitively since I was six years old and have loved building families with each group be it high school or club. Academics have always been very important to me and I intend to continue the success that I have created in high school; I have little doubt that I will be able to handle both swimming and academics as I have been doing so for a very long time with a rigorous class load. Being very easygoing I believe that I will have little trouble getting along with any future teammates. Although I suspect there will be a lot of competition within, I hope that all of it will be good-natured.
