Shannon Lampe '11 Recruiting Profile

I qualified for Short Course Nationals 100y backstroke with a time of 57.05 in my Junior Year and I qualified for Jr Nationals in the 100Y backstroke in my sophomore year with a 59.07. I hope to improve my times during my Senior Year and qualify for higher ranking meets. I recently received the USA Swimming Scholastic All American Award for my combined scholastic and academic accomplishments. I just received notification that I will be inducted into the National Honor Society. I currently am the fastest backstroker and second fastest 50 freestyler in Suffolk County, New York. I have a 200 free relay split time of 23.84. I also do well in the 100 fly with a personal best of 58.98. My goal is to obtain the best education I can and balance that with my love of swimming. I put the effort in to both my grades and swimming. I am interested in studying Finance and Economics in college. I am open to all opportunities at this point. I have a cumulative GPA of 96.04 through my junior year. I am in many honors classes. I am on track to take AP classes my Senior year.
