Erin Leirey '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Erin Leirey and I've been swimming for ten plus years. I still get a rush diving into the pool during a race. It has been my goal to swim in college and when I put my mind to something I do not give up. My goals in college are to continue my swimming career and improve my race times and techniques. I currently swim on the Kingston High School Girls Varsity swimming and diving located at section9swim.com. I have made it to the NYS High school meet held at Ithaca college for the past two years and hope to return this year. In addition to my Varsity school team I also swim on the Kingston YMCA Hurricanes and have made it to the YMCA Nationals Swim meet held in Greensboro, NC. That meet was one of the most influential meets I've ever swam at knowing I'm swimming against some of the fastest girls in the nation.  My major I would like to study is undecided but I would like to think about an area in Business or Science. My personality is humorous but serious when needed to be. Good qualities I have are kind, caring, motivational and I have the mind-set to succeed.
