Kate Suchowiecki '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming since the age of 6. If I were to describe myself as a swimmer It would be Lazer focused.   I set a goal and I have always reached that goal. Last year, my goal as a sophomore was to break .26 seconds in the 50 free and .57 seconds in the 100 free. I accomplished this.  I also set a goal last year to make sectionals in all the events that I swam during the varsity season, and I accomplished this too. This year my goal is to break .25 seconds in the 50 free and .55 seconds in the 100 free and I accomplished this. I know that this is not accomplished without determination, hard work, and the support of my coaches and teammates. 

I also participated in varsity basketball and travel basketball my freshman and sophomore year.  I just love to compete!  Although I am not playing anymore, I am proud that I have achieved my swimming times while taking the spring season off.  I am curious to see where my swimming will take me if I put all my energy into one sport these next 2 years!
