Ashley Martin '24 Recruiting Profile

Swimming has been a main part of my life for 11 years. I have swam on the same club team, Pine Bush Aquatic Club, for 11 years and have been on the Pine Bush Varsity Swimming and Diving team since 7th grade. Our team has been Dual, OCIAAs and Section IX Champions for 4 years in a row. We also finished 2nd overall at the NYS Championships in the fall of 2021. My teammates have pushed me to be a better swimmer by surrounding our pool with positivity and encouragement. Furthermore, my coaches have made me tougher both physically and mentally throughout the years. In addition to athletics, I have managed to maintain a 99 overall GPA while taking honors and AP classes. During college, I hope to get stronger in and out of the pool, as well as improving my times. I also hope to be able to surround myself with a team who will push me to be my best and give me the opportunity to be a supportive teammate.
