Denise Coleman '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Denise Coleman, I've swum since I was 8 years old. When I turned the age of 9 I decided I wanted to take my abilities to the next level and join a swim club. Ever since then my love for the sport has only grown so much more. It’s always been a dream of mine to swim in college and excel at the next level. All of the coaches I’ve had say I am dedicated not only to myself and the sport I love but to my teammates as well. In my free time, I like to work at Gigi's cupcakes and decorate cupcakes, I also enjoy reading Colleen Hoover books and doing after-school events like Dance concerts and powder puff ( which is a flag football event my school host every year during spring) . Summer of 2022 I spent my time teaching younger kids how to swim as well and learn to love sport as much as I love it. The career I want to pursue in the future is to become an athletic trainer and help other athletes prevent injuries and rehabilitate them so they can be their 100% selves when they play the sport they love.
