My swim journey began at age 5. Ever since that first race I have been committed to swimming competitively and have thoroughly enjoyed the process. Swimming has given me so much including many friendships; the thrill of racing; and a team to be proud of. In addition, it has taught me a lot about time management; over-coming obstacles; and how to be a good teammate. I would like to continue to swim in college because I enjoy competing and feel I have so much to offer my new team both in and out of the pool. I can always improve in swimming, school and life and I look forward to continuing the journey in college.
