Avery Kern '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Avery! I've been on a swim team since I was 3, even though I have done so many other sports, swimming is the one I've stuck with. Since I was little my dream has always been to swim in college so I've been working extremely hard since the beginning of high school and realized now is my chance to watch my dreams come true. Wherever I am and whatever team I'm on, I've always made a lot of friends and talked to a lot of people. Although swimming is my passion I still focus on my academic career. This coming school year I am going to be in Beta club and will continue on the Catawba Ridge Varsity Swim team and Rays competitive year round team. I am a strong passionate athlete and I always want to improve. One thing about me is even if I'm having a hard time I push through and keep going with a positive attitude and put in 110% in every lap and every meter.
