Hannah Martin '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I'm Hannah Martin and I live in Blacksburg, Virginia and have been here my entire life. I've been swimming for about 10 years now and I love the sport and would be interested in continuing to grow and get better through a collegiate program. A primary reason why I love swimming is the level of hard work and commitment required to get better. I enjoy seeing the progress in time after having done the work in the pool and outside of it. I would bring a strong mentality to the team and would offer a lot of excitement and energy. 

 Along with swimming as my main sport, I also throw for track and field. I find that the different training styles have made me pay better attention to my stroke and technique in the pool. I also participate in my schools advanced auditioned choir and have sung with others at a national level. And finally, I am very invested in my academics and learning which has taught me to have good time management and work ethic skills.
