I have been swimming for almost my entire life. I've had many ups and downs with the sport but the large amount of passion I have for swimming and my teammates have never changed. My goals for the future are to break 1:00 minute in the 100 backstroke. I also want to mantain a 3.5 gpa in college and go into a career where my future involves helping other athletes meet their goals. Some of my good qualities on my high school and club swim team are: I am extremely positive, even after my bad races I never get down, I take it as a learning experience and jump right into cheering on others. I mentally put a bad race behind me and move forward on how I can compete on my next race. All of my coaches have complimented me on my ability to always radiate positivity to the other people on my team. I am a true competitor, with a strong drive to better myself, my times and race with my teammates so we make our goals.
