Personal Statement

Leadership. Work Ethic. Sportsmanship. These core values are what I focus on in swimming and everyday life.

As a leader, I strive to motivate and encourage my peers and teammates; whether it is in athletic competitions, practices, or class. Even at home, as the youngest member in my family, I have always stepped up to set examples and lead when appropriate.

My determination to work hard to achieve my goals has molded my character throughout the years. I have been driven since the age of seven to better myself in swimming, learning from failures and pushing myself to always improve. My strong work ethic is also reflected through my school grades.

My need to bring my best to all competitions is most important to me, particularly when it comes to my team. With good sportsmanship, I give 100% of myself to support the team and our success.

Collectively, each of my guiding principles has allowed me to be very consistent, building a strong foundation of character. Through leadership, work ethic, and sportsmanship, I have become dependable in maintaining a high-level of effort in competition, and building relationships and trust with coaches and teammates.

My main goal at the collegiate level is to find a good fit for my swimming and desired majors. I hope to leverage my core values, athletic and academic performance wherever I may go.

I look forward to speaking to you!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
