My name is Kelsey Gee and I am 17,5 feet 7 inches tall and weigh 135 pounds. I have played tennis for four years. I made varsity team since freshman year and played number one doubles with a senior. During my sophmore year I played number 1 singles where I had to beat a senior to recieve the position. I the summer of 2010, I played on a USTA jr. Team Tennis 18 and under, where my team, Deer Valley, beat 12 Nor Cal Teams and advanced to Cal State Tournament in Clovis, CA. We were not able to advance but we had fun and I learned a lot. Junior year I went undefeated, along with being the Co-Captain of my team. My senior year I am playing number one singles and strive to go undefeated once again, along with being the best captain I can to my team. I maintain an average GPA of 3.7 and scored a 25 on my ACT. I want to play for a team that has a great team atmosphere and moral character. I will be majoring in secondary education specifically history. I have always loved history and recently, because of my history teacher at school who I looked up to, caused me to look into becoming a teacher myself. My athletic goals are to be able to play on a college tennis team and make life long memories with the team and the people I will meet because of the great opportunities tennis can offer me. I am outgoing and ready for a new adventure at any given moment. I strive to do my best in all I do and be the best influence and role model to my peers and the younger generation which look upon my actions.
