I strive to play tennis at a collegiate level because I have a strong passion for the sport and competing against other talented players. I've been playing tennis since I could hold a racquet, and I plan to continue as long as I can still swing my Wilson. I enjoy how tennis is a physical as well as a mental sport. Tennis demands critical thinking, mental and physical toughness. Although I'm just beginning my journey in high school, I look forward to becoming a lawyer, where I know critical thinking and mental toughness will also be demanded. My passion, grit, and love for the sport is accompanied by consistently high academic achievement. These, along with many other characteristics, make me a fitting candidate for a collegiate womens' tennis team.
