My name is Aleksandra Bakhtova,I’m 18 years old and I’m from Russia. I am a freshman at University of Illinois at Chicago , USA. Currently I’m playing in the UIC Tennis Club and I also play USTA Junior Tournaments. For four years in High School I was in Evert Tennis Academy in Boarding School. The Reason why I had not apply for any tennis teams while i was in high School is because I was injured and i was out of tournaments for more than a year, what influenced my utr and ranking. While I was recovering from my injury I was still practicing at the academy and with my personal coach. Now I’m fully recovered and I’m back on track, trying to play as many tournaments as possible with my tennis club team and also on my own.I’m not planning to give up I’m looking forward for playing for the university tennis team.
My WTN Rating Level:29.2.I have been ranked in Girls' 18 Florida Quota List as a 736,In Region 8 I’m ranked as an 183. My Universal Tennis Rating is a 5.2.
My GPA at the end of High School was 3.2 unweighted and 3.8 weideath. Now it’s different since I’m already in the University and going to be transfer student. In high school I also took 5 IB (International Baccalaureate) classes and In most of them I did very well which gave me credit hours in University. I am very interested in learning more about your university and your tennis program, as I believe I may be a great fit both academically and athletically. Thank you for your consideration.
