valentina rossi '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Valentina Rossi. As a student-athlete, I strive to be my best self on and off the court. Since playing at four years old, I have had a passion and love for tennis. I also enjoy taking high-level classes along with staying consistent in my training. Throughout the years, I have worked hard to perfect most technical aspects of my game. In particular, my straight-arm forehand and serve are my biggest weapons. I consider myself an attacking player with good defensive skills. There are, of course, many areas of my tennis with grounds for improvement, but I have a solid foundation and the desire to improve my game constantly. I am a great team player and fortunate to have experienced excellent school team successes in a competitive tennis environment. I have consistently played 1st to 3rd positions in Varsity tennis since 8th grade and helped our team win two back-to-back Florida State Championships. 

I aim to attend a college with a solid tennis team that strives to improve continuously. I prioritize my education as much as I love tennis, portray strength and perseverance in every aspect of my life, and aspire to be seen as a leader for others. Tennis helped shape me into the person I am today and aspire to become.
