My name is Libby McCormick and I have been playing tennis since I was 10 years old. As a varsity member since freshman year, I have learned of the many skills and traits you must bring to the team. I have maintained High Honor Roll my whole high school career, as well as being in top 10% of my class. I have received runner up in conference to the third place team at state all three years, in singles and doubles, and recently went to state junior year after receiving third at sectionals. This past season, my senior year, I won #1 singles in conference, the first sectional championship at my high school for singles, and won the team champions for the first time, too. As I went to state, I placed in the top 24, receiving all state- the first person at my school in singles to do this. Overall, college tennis is a huge aspiration of mine and I will work hard for what’s needed.
