I have signed with Bellarmine Univeristy!
I started playing high school varsity tennis in sixth grade; as a result, I have become more fearless on the tennis courts. I didn't let the age difference bother me in matches. The fearlessness I have is a great contribution to a team, because I am willing to go the extra mile for the team's benefit. In addition to that, I am a hard worker who is very persistent. If my coach gives me constructive criticism, I will do everything in my power to accomplish what is asked of me. I am also very social and can get along with anyone well. Being social should be a quality in all team members, because if they work well together, the team will preform better overall. I am different from other athletes, because I have been told by many that I am a good sport. I have received sportsmanship awards in various events and to me, is one the best awards possible. Unlike some, I enjoy being pushed to achieve my fullest potential. Being pushed by others, gives me even more motivation to strive for greatness. Along with my athletics, my academics render the same results. I have taken multiple AP courses throughout high school. By the time I graduate, there will only be three AP courses I have not taken. My junior year, I received all A's both semesters. The hard work I put into school shows, by my junior year GPA of 4.5. Challenges motivate me to persevere, and this is one of the reasons why I aspire to become a Neurosurgeon. Being a Neurosurgeon, each day is different and one is faced with many challenges they have to overcome. This is why I would make a great addition to any team, and how I'm different than most athletes.
