My goal is to play varsity tennis for a strong division three college. I would like to be able to play singles and doubles. I have played more singles, but I have just joined a town team which is all doubles, so I am also playing more doubles now. I am a good candidate for your team because I work really hard at my game, I put in hours of practice every week, I take the game very seriously, but I also have a lot of fun while playing, and I love being on a team, and the tennis community is so great. I am also very coachable and I am always looking for ways to improve my game. There are many things that make me different than other candidates. I started playing tennis in the spring of my seventh grade year, I like helping my teammates and friends, I fight back in matches when I am down, and I am easy to get along with. Outside of tennis I am also a black belt in Tang Soo Do, which is a type of martial art. I have been doing karate since I was nine years old and still continue to practice. I take my education very seriously. I study hard and long for tests and quizzes, I always do my homework, and my classwork to the best of my ability. I have also won a few awards for my academics.
