In short, throughout my entire life I have always loved the sport of tennis. The competition, the drive, the adrenaline… all go into the concoction of the sport I have given indeed a very special place in my heart. In terms of advancing to the next level of competitive collegiate tennis, I believe that I can be an excellent component to an abundance of teams as I possess skills of leadership, diligence, and communicability. During my 2022 varsity high school season, I was elected team captain by both my teammates and coaches as only a sophomore, becoming the first sophomore captain of the varsity tennis program at my high school. Additionally, I was awarded the Husky Heart Award by my coaches at the end of the 2022 season (our team does not award an MVP) in which honored my extreme passion for the team and putting forth my uttermost effort into every match no matter the score. My freshman year season, 2021, I was also a recipient of the Perseverance Award by my coaches yet again for the passion I present during every practice and match. Furthermore, I put forth significant amounts of devotion and effort to any team I represent, including upon an individual scale, which I believe is something every player should have for the sport they adore. I hope to be able to advance to any level of collegiate play and to proudly represent my school and community in the future!
