I began playing tennis in 7th grade and played doubles on the Junior Varsity team then in 8th grade I was brought up to play on the varsity team in the third doubles spot. Doubles seemed to be more my style than singles and I worked incredibly hard over the summer to get moved up to the second doubles spot my 9th and 10th grade seasons. This season, my 11th grade year, I transitioned strongly over to the second singles position where I played a majority of the year along with some first singles. I am well versed in singles and doubles and in both positions I feel strong and confident enough that I will be able to perform equally well.
My overall record over the last three years is 51-15 including conference and nonconference matches and tournaments. My combined conference record of my freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons is 21-1, at second doubles and second singles.
I have received four varsity letters for playing in the Le Sueur Henderson tennis team. I was named to the Minnesota River All Conference team in my 9th, 10th, and 11th grade seasons. In 2014, 2015, and 2016 I had received the "Hustle" Award voted for by my teammates. In 2014 and 2016 I was awarded the "TEAM Player" which is given to the most devoted and supportive teammate on the team. This season, 2016, I was also given the honor of being voted Most Valuable Player, which I am incredibly appreciative of.
Thank you so much for taking the time to view my profile and learn more about me as a tennis player!
