Personal Statement

Hi! My name is Lily Holliday. I have been on the varsity tennis team since 7th grade. I am very tenacious and will never give up on a goal. I will run down every tennis ball and fight to the end.  I train and practice tennis year round, and I feel that my commitment and effort is what has helped me the most with my tennis abilities. Ever since I started playing tennis, I have hit with a lot more guys than I have with girls. Playing with guys has taught me how to stand my ground and be ready for anything. I give my all, not only on the court, but in the classroom as well. I am looking for a college that will help me excel in both my academic and athletic goals.
