Alivia Lusko '24 Recruiting Profile

I’m different from other recruits because I have a lot of respect for this sport.  I love how tennis is competitive and aggressive and also graceful and elegant.  I have faced injuries and come back stronger on the other side.  I know what it feels like to win and what it feels like to lose, and I‘ve learned a lot from both.  I have loved my years as a high school tennis player and I can’t wait to learn more as a college athlete!  Access to playing tennis in Montana is limited, which means that I have had to work harder than most in order to play.  I’m willing to put effort and energy into training and competing at the highest level I can achieve.  I hold my values high and I want to pursue my academic goals while also competing with women who respect this sport as much as I do.  

I have a powerful forehand, consistent backhand, and I love to play singles as well as doubles.  I’m always ready to work on my strokes and technique.  I am coachable and will always give my best efforts.
