Lily Andrews '22 Recruiting Profile

My freshman year we were State runners-up, the highest finish ever for Davies High School.  I played #3-2 singles and #2-1 doubles, winning the most matches of any player. I play #1 singles and doubles and am team captain this season.   Our season has been historic for Davies High School Tennis:  first ever regular season conference championship; first ever undefeated conference season; first ever conference tournament championship; first ever season wherein all players qualified for the state individual tournament; and my doubles team won the school’s first ever individual  conference championship.  I am so proud of everything my team has accomplished together.  My on court strength is consistency, my motto being “No cheap points!”.  I had been with Coach Jerry Caulfield, since I was 7, and so I feel I am fundamentally sound.  Coach Jerry is in the North Dakota tennis hall of fame.  My current coach Oliver Summers has coached at the Division II level for several years.  I also feel I am versatile in that I am a singles and doubles player.   Above all I love being with my teammates, and always have a positive attitude.  I have a 4.0 GPA, am an Honor Student, and have served on Student Council throughout High School.  I am focusing on Division III and II programs.  I would love to continue my tennis career.  If you’re looking for a player who will not beat herself, and who will always pick up her teammates, I am your player.
