I began taking group tennis lessons in 4th grade. In 6th grade I decided to no longer continue experimenting with other sports and just focus on tennis. In Junior High, I played on a club tennis team, filling a spot on the 1st doubles team. While in High School I've tried out for the tennis team every year; making the JV team Freshman and Sophomore year, playing a singles position. With my continued dedication I tried out for the High School team Junior year with improved skills to make the Varsity team; playing on the 2nd doubles team. My love for tennis intensifies the longer I play, which is why I'm pursuing the opportunity to play tennis on a college team while I study Broadcast Journalism.
