2023 HighlightsPersonal Statement
As a more fresh athlete to the sport of track and field, some people might see me as a chance not worth taking. However, I see it that I have miles of room to improve and develop my craft, and with the right program, reach my very high ceiling I am certain I can achieve. Not only will I improve, but with my contagious work ethic and willingness to overcome obstacles, I believe that the entire team and program will show improvement.
My willingness to compete to win was developed from a hate to lose mentality. My competitive athletic career across five sports have been filled with amazing opportunities. Those opportunities have many instances where we have fallen just short. The loss fuels my journey towards reaching my fullest potential. My love for the competition along with the comradery of the athletes I train with drives my athletic training and performance.
