Emily Jackson '21 Recruiting Profile

What keeps me inspired is hard work and the achievements from hard work. I like to be involved, to do as much as I can. When people tell me I cant, I take the challenge and succeed. Does the work get hard? Of course, but I push on. My aspiration is to become a neurologist and possibly a surgeon. In order to do this I must work hard at my academics and my athletics. To be involved in sports and other activities has helped me understand how to apply knowledge that I have learned in the class. The ability of team work, focus, and social attitude. Academics is important, but so is athletics, and bringing that balance together is success. I don't give up. I am looking for a higher education that can not only help me academically, but also help me develop as an athlete.
